Light dancing on the water can sometimes rival spectacular fireworks. Dancing light is so common and great balls of fire are just once or twice a year. Does the common loose its magnificent simply because it is common?
I think part of the attraction of fireworks is the contrast between the night sky and the light. I've seen fireworks with the sun still up, and they aren't nearly as spectacular. Just a thought.

Well that was interesting. Judy's comment was not showing up so I added it myself. As soon as I hit post comment then her comment appeared. There are glitches in computerland.
