Close up and blown up

I love my Nikon camera and awesome lens. I can take pictures just inches away with amazing results. The closeups are so fun to do when your camera can handle it. The raindrops blowing up the car windows is more difficult to take then I thought. The camera had difficulty focusing on the rain and not the window or the clouds out side. This one looked the most interesting out of the dozen I took.

Yup I left my camera at home since I just cleaned it off to be ready for a trip. No camera and in the parking lot is a white tiger on top of an SUV. I lamented not having my camera and the loss shot. Now here is the kicker. I had my phone with me that, you guessed it, has a camera. I could of had the shot if I wasn't such a phone-o-phobic. Yep I am so terrified of my phone that I don't know how to use the little camera. Note to self: Learn how to use my camera phone.

Blue Clouds?

The first picture is the JPG created by my camera. The second picture is much closer to what it actually looked like, thanks to RAW files and Photoshop. No wonder digital cameras can drive people crazy. It is what color?
