Golden Steps

Late at night the water steps glow from the lights in the walk way. During the day, these steps look very ordinary with water tripping down them. At night, the lights and water create a magic that will slip away at Sunrise.

Complementary Color for Blue

...is orange. The Koi fish at the zoo have spectacular colors and shallow water for a great photo op.

Purple and Yellow

I immediately thought of pansies when I think of purple and yellow combined in nature. I realized pansies aren't the only ones with that color scheme. I love flowers. I always think of them as mother natures smiles.

Complementary Colors

Every art student learns about complementary colors. Nature just does it.

Orange

A future project will be a book on colors. I found this to be an interesting view of a familiar orange light.

Peacock Blue

I love color. Occasionally I think some man-made color is so impressive until I see where in nature it really came from. This blue shimmered in the sun light. Unfortunately a still camera can not pick that up. Human eyes can see some things that the camera can not.
