This brawl started in the roadway and continued on the grass when a truck nearly ran them over. The 2 pictures are from the same RAW file. The bottom one I lightened the blacks so you could see them a little better. Unfortunately they had a better contrast before I uploaded the files. I need to learn to compensate for web colors. Third time looks more like I was hoping but lousy in Photoshop.
That is raw nature! I think the lighter rendition looks natural because the foreground area of shadow under the birds obscures them much less. I don't know enough about digital editing to know what would be next, but in b&w under the enlarger I'd do a bit of artful dodging!
