This delicate little bloom is about the size of my thumb nail. It sits on top of a tall spindly stem hoping to get it high enough that a desert breeze can spread its pollen. I am fascinated how each of God's creations are so beautifully suited to its own environment. A single bloom is cute but thousands blooming in the desert cast yellow cape over the brown desert.
