Heron dignity

Looking at my pictures of the heron today I realized how dignified the bird looks. The bird is letting me get a little closer each time.

One Morning

These pictures were taken about every two minutes. The sky changes quickly and only a camera can freeze the frames of time.

Full Moon

Capturing a full moon on a cloudy night poses some interesting problems. Fortunately, I had a tripod that helped steady the camera for a longer shot. Turned out different than I thought. I think I like the picture better than the original view. Interesting.

Clouds

Pulled this from my pictures last May. I am fascinated how light plays in the clouds. Glowing white and dark grays play off each other. Beautiful.

Morning Solitude

Some I can see why the title fits, others leave me wondering if I missed the point. Sometimes I think the artist's point of view includes information that I don't know. The more I learn the more I understand different pieces of art.

Happy New Year!!!

We purchased a new iMac with a 27 inch screen. I have spent all my time getting it ready for my pictures all 20,000 +. Organizing them should give me a lovely chance to review the year.

Christmas Lights

I love Christmas lights. I took a bunch of pictures and these were my favorites. Hard to see the first one, the lights are projected on to the tree. Looks like fairy lights.
