Arizona Pineapples
One can hardly believe that Pineapples can grow in Arizona, but then again maybe they don't. The birds enjoy the tasty treats but I don't think Hawaii's economy is any danger. I learned that moving back from a narrow focus will change my perspective.

Capturing lizards
I was born in Phoenix and raised in the wilds of Tempe many years ago. My brothers and I would catch horny toads, red racer snakes, crawdads and other creeping things. I still like capturing lizards. This little fellow was sunning himself at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens. He was so cooperative in letting me take his picture.

Sundays are special
Sunday is a day to contemplate God however you understand Him. As a Freshman in college my physics professor asked us to prove there was a God. The conversation was heated but no conclusion came. After class I asked him if he believed in a Supreme being. He smiled as he replied, "Anyone that is a scientist knows there is a Supreme being. The odds are too great for this to ever happen by accident." I look at nature all around me and know that God lives. I look at people and wonder from time to time. Enjoy your Sunday.

Just the beginning...
I can hardly believe I am starting my own blog. So why do it? I want to share with anybody that would like to see my growing collection of photos. I started by buying a nice Canon camera 10 years ago. Now I am totally going digital with amazing photos almost everyday. I love taking pictures of what I call Urban Nature and starting to branch out to people and ordinary things that we look at everyday but never really see. When I am taking pictures the world changes to something magical. I hope you enjoy what you see.
