A camera sees?

The first picture is taken with a flash and looks similar to what I could see. The second picture is how the camera 'sees' the same light. I enjoy allowing the camera to reveal what it 'sees.' I don't know what the picture will look like until after I take the picture.

Moon

I am constantly amazed at the things you can do with a camera. By choosing where I stood I could make it appear that the moon is sitting on the mountain.

Wedding reception

Wedding receptions are exciting family times. I like focusing on details that added to the evening.

Utah Backyard

This is the view from my brother's backyard.

Mares tails

Clouds formations have all sorts of names but this one actually makes sense. In an interesting way they do look like mares tails.

On the Road

Out the window, along the road side, the camera shows life at a 55 MPH blur.

Around the corner, coming down a hill I took this picture in southern Utah. I looked at the other pictures I took of this view and I liked this one the best. A change in the point of view can change the whole picture.

Bright eyes

This little guy scampered across my path then sat up on this rock like he was asking, "What you doin'? Got any food for me? Huh? Huh?" No food - so he scampered off looking for cool shade.
