So many died, a flag for every person that died that day.

Teach the children the heroes/helpers of that day.

For those that never went home.

Remember 9/11 part 2

When I returned to my folder holding over 400 pictures from the Healing Fields, I wasn't ready to let it go. The day started early with a service in the morning. Every hour taps was played. The Healing Fields is in the landing flight pattern of the airport and in my mind the jets are a major memory of the day. That evening speeches were given that I couldn't hear. (Hearing aides still has many limitations.) Patriotic songs were played on a trumpet. Haunting and beautiful. Finally bagpipes played a last farewell with the audience holding candles standing next to the flags. I hope this series will convey the feelings I had while I cried and took pictures.
