Actually a tiny fraction since most of my pictures I take them because there is something about it that grabs my attention and I enjoy making pictures that make me happy.

...is orange. The Koi fish at the zoo have spectacular colors and shallow water for a great photo op.

What the fish?

Sometimes you need to get more of the picture because less changes the context of what a person is seeing.

Bug Feast

40 or 50 little fish surfaced for a morning breakfast of bugs. When we walked too close they would splash down all at once. The water looked like it was boiling in one spot. Amazing. If they are eating the nasty white flies I am all for it.

How about now? These are the little fish in the Tempe pond they call a lake. Hopefully one of these days I can get a picture of one of the big fish.
